Age 10

Arman lives with his widowed mother and 2 brothers in Bhiwandi. After his father’s death, Arman’s mother moved the family there seeking better job opportunities. She works in a nearby company earning $84 a month and is able to support her family. Arman completed his education through the 4th grade and discontinued his education to take care of his younger brothers when their mother went to work.

Arman’s mother found out about Udaan through a neighbor and quickly enrolled all three of her sons in Udaan.

Young Arman aspires to become an Engineer. He hopes to one day work and take care of his mother and his brothers.
