Azhan lives with his family of 5 in Bhiwandi. Azhan's father works in a clothes factory, and his minimum wage is between $2 and $3, which is insufficient to run a household with 5 members. With rental payments, other household expenses, and 3 growing boys, it became impossible for the family to send Azhan and his 2 brothers to school. His mother started a bead/pearl stringing business from her home and earns around $1 a day.

Azhan's parents want their sons to get a proper education and upbringing and were eager to enroll them in Udaan. Azhan attends Udaan regularly, and he wants his family to have a good life in the future. He desperately needs a sponsor to support his education and future.
