Age 13

Sayma lives in Bhiwandi, India with her family of 6. Her father has gone through a difficult time with illness and medical treatment but is doing better now, and works hard to support his family as a laborer earning under $8.50 a day; her mother is a homemaker.

Sayma attends Udaan regularly. She needs a sponsor to help her realize her dream of one day becoming a doctor to help others like her father.
