Age 12

Shahin's father works as a loom worker in a factory but refuses to help pay the bills, forcing her mother to work at a nearby clothes company for $2.50 a day; however, when the needs of her children grew greater as they aged, Shihan's mother quit her job and opened a small shop near their house to start selling small food items for children. 

Amidst all this, Shahin's aim in life is to work hard and help her family members. She always wants to see them happy and dreams of becoming an engineer and earning a good name in society, but she needs a sponsor to achieve her dream.
