Age 14

Amar lives in Bhiwandi, India, with his family in a small house. His mother is a homemaker, and his father works as a loom worker in a factory, earning less than $5 a day. His elder brother also works to help support the family.

Amar stopped going to school due to the financial burden they were under during the Covid lockdown. Amar's father wanted his son to have an education and enrolled Amar in Udaan. He is a brilliant student determined to learn.
