Age 17

Rasheed's father works in a factory as a fabric loom worker, and his mother and 2 older sisters string beads for a living. Rasheed lives in the slum community of Bhiwandi with his parents and 6 siblings. His youngest brother is suffering from a tumor in his head, and due to the costs of his brother's treatment, Rasheed and his siblings dropped out of school to help the family.

Rasheed's sister enrolled Rasheed at Udaan, and since then, Rasheed has shown a keen interest in education. He wants his younger siblings to get a good education, and he aims to become a cricket player for India and make his country proud. Rasheed has always expressed his desire to join cricket coaching and hopes for a sponsor to support him in continuing the pursuit of his dream.
